I forgot to say happy birthday to my Mom! Her birthday was on April 24th. We had a nice family dinner with some friends at Carrabbas Italian Grill, yummy!

McKinley has been out of school the last 2 days, so we have been hanging out and enjoying the weather. One thing I realize is that I have gotten used to him going to school all day. They really keep them moving and tucker them out in his class! LOL I am going to have to be running on all cyclinders to keep up with him all summer long! But I am really looking forward to spending the whole summer with the kids.

Bijou and Company just settled on our last launch of the season! We are calling it "Postcards". So many moments of summer vacations are full of lasting memories, little postcards moments, if you will call them that. Beach vacations, trips to Disney World, visits to the park, lazy days at home...all those special little moments need the perfect outfits! BijouCO will start listing new designs for summer on May 6th, stay tuned!

Pin It It has actually been warm outside here this week!! I have been anxiously awaiting spring to bring us warmer weather here in Indianapolis and I think we finally are on our way to summer. I used to complain about the heat, but that was before I had kids. Now, after 5 months cooped up in the house with 2 bored kids, I will never complain again! LOL

Mom and I started working on our first Disney Custom Boutique design this week! It features Peter Pan smocking and I can't wait for it to be completed! I will post sneak peeks as soon as I can, I am very excited about this set and will be listing it on Ebay within the next few weeks. However, it only makes our trip in December feel even farther away! LOL I am counting down the days until our magical trip.

Mom and I went out on the hunt for gorgeous fall fabric the other day and I must say I think we did very well! I am brimming in anticipation of creating designs with the fabrics we selected. Sentiments Starts Today!

After over a month of hard work organizing our Sentiments launch, it's finally here!! I am thrilled, honored, and excited to see all the beautiful designs from our wonderful guests.

Here is the design that I will be listing. It has special meaning to me because it combines the heirloom clothes I remember from my childhood with the custom boutique clothes I like today. A fresh twist on an heirloom classic!

My mom and I started this set by searching thru her collection of French, English, and Swiss laces. We picked our favorites, combined them with heirloom puffing and classic white to create this truly stunning keepsake.

Exciting Day!

Pin It I just called and booked our trip to Walt Disney World! I am so excited, I just had to share with someone else! My mom will be going with, when we visit for a whole week in Decemeber. We have taken the kids one time in the past, and it was only for a day at Magic Kingdom. So this will be our first time experiencing the whole Disney package!

Of course, the first thing I am thinking about is what customs to make for Evie! The ideas are swirling and I can't wait to begin creating clothes for our magical trip.

My custom boutique design group, Bijou & Co., will begin our 1st anniversary launch! The launch is titled "Sentiments" and reflects how we were all feeling about looking back over the last year. It has been a wonderful year of meeting new friends, growing as a designer, and having loads of fun!

As part of our launch, we decided to invite many of the people we have admired over the last year. We were thrilled that so many of them agreed and this launch has really turned into the event of the spring season!

and started a blog. I am not sure if my life is filled with enough wild and crazy things to fill a blog, so it could get interesting! LOL

First things first, let me show you my latest listing on eBay! I listed this as part of my design group, Bijou and Company's, latest launch - The Hamptons. I loved how this set turned out. I have always adored ecru, cream, and white together...I added a fabulous denim to those colors and came out with this set! Perfect for summer beach portraits, weddings, parties, or just everyday. The white pants are basic and perfect underneath any dress or with any shirt.
