Here is the floorplan to our house...well our house, the Lord willing!  I will be on pins and needles until we close, which should be the beginning of June.

I am trying to decide on paint colors for when we move, I even dabbled with a mood board...but those are harder than they look, so I gave up!  I know that the back area of the house will have the same blue we had just painted at our old house.  I would like a serene feeling throughout the house so I am leaning towards lots of light grays and blues.  However, I would love the front "workroom", where our computer will be, to have a fun, bright vibe!

I think I have finally narrowed it down to this fabric for curtains in the room.  I like that I can carry some of the colors in the fabric to the back of the house and maybe even pull out one of the pink hues out for the powder room.

The upside to living with my mom and sleeping in the sewing room is that I have had a little more time to sew.

  I will be listing this darling little set over on Facebook this evening at 9PM EST.  Evie picked the appliques and because she is quickly nearing the end of cutesy clothes...I will make her anything she says she agrees to wear at this point!

It's silly, but today is the first day I have felt like looking at these pictures.

  We all looked a little rough from moving all week, but I am happy we stopped to snap one last picture in our old house.

We are all out of our old house and starting to get settled at my mom's house.

  Here is the latest new house picture.

Here is a house update!  Everything is framed...except for the front porch.

  When I stopped by today the windows and front door were waiting in the garage to be installed.  

The brick we chose is red and the siding is white...the shutters and door will be a dark navy blue.  I hope these colors work with the simple lines of the house to create a farmhouse "feel".

  The front porch stretches across the front of the house and will have white railing.

  We should be moving in sometime during June and I cannot wait to put bunting flags on the front porch for the 4th of July!
