Pin It I admit it, I have election anxiety.

One candidate shares almost none of the same beliefs and values as me. I worry what will happen to this country if he is able to implement his proposed plans. What kind of America is going to be here for my children?

I have had a whole range of emotions today.

Then during a discussion with the kids today about the election McKinley proceeds to say, it's ok either way mommy...because God is the President.

God is the president.

What wisdom from a seven year old little boy. God IS the president of my life.

Don't forget to vote tomorrow and pick up your free Starbucks & Krispy Kreme when you are finished!

So there is the end of my rambling thoughts and the only post I will have about the election.

Happy Halloween!

Pin It Tonight our friends, Stephanie, Matt, Wyatt, Madeline, and Luke came over for Halloween! We ordered PaPa Murphy's pizza, and while the kids were waiting to go trick or treating...they decorated cupcakes and did a craft.

They all looked so adorable! The daddy's took the kids out while us mommy's stayed in and passed out the candy. I love seeing all the costumes! My favorite costume this year was a little girl whose jeans were covered in candy Smarties...she was a SMARTYPANTS! lol

Here is a picture of the kids. Evie was a cat, but I forgot to get face paint for whiskers and a nose, bad mommy. And McKinley, of course, was Darth Vader!

Christmas Pictures

So...we went out and tried to take Christmas pictures the other night. These are the times when I wish I knew what I was doing with my camera! lol I think we got a few good shots, but I want to try one more photoshoot. The kids are going to kill me when I tell them! I love taking the pictures myself though because I feel like I get so many pictures of their personalities that you don't get when you go to a portrait studio.

Taking the kids pictures and putting one of them on our Christmas cards is one of my favorites things to do at the holidays. Who doesn't like to show off their kids?!

Pin It While we were in Michigan, we visited the pumpkin patch!

I love the Pumpkin Patch, we still have to pay a visit to our favorite patch in Indianapolis. Who wouldn't love a place that has a pumpkin eating dinosaur?! lol
